As I said, today I will be posting character inspiration photo's for Lost.

Again, I have no idea who to credit for these images. If they are your creation, please let me know, and I will credit you. If you would like for me to take them down, again, I will. Just let me know!

And here we go.

Vangelis

Batibat

There we go!

I am going to try to edit the first three chapters of Forbidden: Lost and have them posted on my site tonight.

I do have to admit to a slight obsession that has been keeping me from writing.

Such timing, such FUN!

Anyway, this is the first of a long list of to-do's today. Will post again if I get the chapters up!

Have a great day!

So, it has been a few days.

In my defence, I have been busy.

Six chapters edited for Heart of the Sun. Based on comments from a beta reader, I need to work on my horse scenes. That is not a problem. And I am slowly working on it.

I have uploaded Forbidden: Broken to Smashwords right here. And to Amazon.

And I have started on Forbidden: Addicted, though that was not supposed to be next.

Damn books have a mind of their own.

Anyway, there is something I wanted to do.

I wanted to post pictures of the inspiration for my characters. I have no idea who made these, or I would give credit. If it was you, let me know, and I will give credit. If you would like for me to take these down, I will do that as well. I am not trying to step on toes.

I don't know how large they will turn out, but here goes nothing.

First is Elathan

Next is Sitri

And lastly, Irin

These are my characters from Broken. Tomorrow, I will post pictures of Vangelis and Batibat. They star in Forbidden: Lost

And that is all for today, folks!
Have a great day!

Hi!

So, yesterday, I managed to get a whole chapter of Heart of the Sun edited. It should have been a lot more, but I was working on my website. Which has been as sadly neglected as this blog. But having recovered passwords, well, I have been busy updating everything.

My Web address is under my profile, but I will just throw it out here as well.

Some of the buttons do not work on purpose. They are in anticipation of books I have either just completed or have yet to write. Seeing them kind of helps keep me accountable. Maybe it will help keep me from procrastinating TOO much.

I vow to edit at least two more chapters after work tonight. That is, if I survive work. It is Mother's Day, after all.

Now that I think about it, the editing might have to wait til tomorrow.

My future plans, now that I have updated everything, is to complete editing HotS and to write Heart of the Moon. That last one might be a struggle. Not because I don't want to. I DO! It's simply that I can't quite get out of the Forbidden world. It's tough because they are so different.

My Heart trilogy is elves and dwarves. Not anything remotely Tolkin, (I can only dream about writing like that) however, very much inspired by character(s) from The Hobbit.

My Forbidden series is angles and demons, dark and sexy, and bloody. Violent. And so much fun to write!

Anyway, I will update tomorrow and tell how the editing goes.

Ciao!

I'm back!

I have returned!
Between my apartment being broken into, a few years ago, and finally being able to replace the laptop that was stolen, I had forgotten my password.
Silly, right?
Anyway, that has been rectified!
Yay!

Now, onto Chasing Dreams stuff.
I participated in NaNoWriMo for the first time, November 2014. The goal, for those that don't know, is to write 50,000 words in a month.
Yes, that's right.
A month.
And I won!
Well, not as much 'winning' as I succeeded
.
There are 'goodies' for winning. Discounts on programs, such as Scrivener. And since discovering THAT program, I find myself wondering how I have ever written anything. It is simply fantastic and I highly recommend it! I also will receive two free physical book from Amazon's Createspace. That is again something I am THRILLED with.

And here is why. Since Nano, my 50K word thing became a 97K word novel. Elf. Dwarf. SO much fun! And I will get to hold it in my grubby hands! Also, since nano, I have written 3, yes, 3 additional book. These are going to be part of a 5 (at least, things have a weird way of working out and it might end up at 70.) book series.
The series title is Forbidden, with Forbidden: Broken being soon to be released. Forbidden: Lost and Forbidden: Redemption are still awaiting the loving touch of an editor.

I am editing and adding some world building to my Elf and Dwarf Fantasy. The name of that one is Heart of the Sun, with Heart of the Moon and Heart of the World to follow.

So, you can see, this has been a busy 6 months. And the next few months show no sign of slowing down.

It's almost breathtaking to think that maybe I can actually catch my dreams.

What new addictions lie in wait for me

I am a first rate procrastinator. I have just recently discovered this flaw. I don't mean to say that I never knew I was one at all, but have since discovered just how good I am at it.

Twitter. Facebook. Smashwords. *sigh*

I will write for 10 minutes, then hit tab and pull up my browser that I rarely close. See what earth-shaking news happened in those 10 minutes, then write some more. Over and over. Then to my horror, discover I have barely written a page.

Yes, I need help.

Any writers out there know of a cure?

Daydreaming

What would I do if I could live out my dream of being a working writer? Well, write, of course. But then, I could write from anywhere. What new ideas could come from new scenery?

Driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway, would I see inspiration in the incredibly beautiful sights? Could I imagine it at night? Would I see my hero driving, lost in troubled thoughts, suddenly witness an angel step from the trees. Would she change his life forever? Could he accept her for what and who she was?

How about the amazing U.S.1? Surrounded by blue, soft breeze blowing, my Heroines car breaks down. She walks along, accepts a ride from a stranger and learns that there are things out there she never knew about before.

This is my hope for the future. To explore the highways and byways of this country. The back roads and the walking trails. I want to know this world intimately. Starting with home.

Now the fun begins!

Yes indeed. After another round of things designed to make me lose my mind, I am back.

Okay, so, this is what I am doing these days. I am writing steadily on my sequel to Symphony, updating my website, trying to figure out Twitter, working, trying to come up with ideas for a flyer to advertise me, and sleeping a little bit. Busy, but loving it!

I have at least 2 other book ideas, and I am itching to get started on them, again, but I made a promise to myself to finish Symphony 2. (Still need to come up with a title.)

I am looking forward to owning a car again. Taxis are not cheap. Not even close. I am also looking forward to being able to write full time.

I have two books on Smashwords, Symphony and Howl at the Moon. Symphony is also available at BarnesandNoble.com, Kobo, Diesel, Sony, The Apple iStore, With Amazon coming in September.

I am going to enjoy my summer of writing!
